Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the wife of Anambra State Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, expressed admiration for her husband’s impressive performance during a recent public event.
The event, Platform Nigeria, was held at Ikeja – Lagos and featured Governor Soludo as a prominent speaker. Mrs. Soludo watched her husband’s live appearance on Channels TV from the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia.
“It’s been over 35 years of knowing this sage, but you can never stop learning from his extraordinary intellect,” Mrs. Soludo remarked, praising her husband’s intellectual prowess. Governor Soludo’s speech at the event was widely acclaimed, as he addressed various pressing issues affecting Nigeria.
Among the topics discussed by Governor Soludo were local government autonomy and true federalism, the ongoing debate surrounding the minimum wage, his support for a 6-year single tenure for political office holders, and his call for a reduced number of representatives in the Nigerian Legislature. Additionally, Governor Soludo advocated for a significant allocation of revenues to state governments.
Throughout his speech, Governor Soludo emphasized that Nigeria’s future lies in its past and outlined several recommendations that, if implemented, could help restore the country’s lost glory and reclaim its status as the true giant of Africa.
