Anambra State First Lady, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has launched the “Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative” at the Anambra NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Mbaukwu/Umuawulu. The initiative aims to promote healthy living among corps members and the communities they will serve.
During the launch, Mrs. Soludo stated that the initiative will teach corps members the importance of healthy living and provide them with the knowledge and skills to promote healthy habits in their communities. The initiative will also provide support for menstrual health emergencies among female corps members through the establishment of a Healthy Living Pad Bank at the camp.
The Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative aims to make healthy living a culture that transcends age and social classifications. The initiative seeks to empower young people to take ownership of their health and promote healthy living in their communities.
“We are committed to making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our communities. We believe that by empowering our young people with the knowledge and skills to promote healthy living, we can create a healthier and happier society. We will get there!” said Mrs. Soludo.
The Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative will continue to work with corps members and communities across Anambra State to promote healthy living and provide support for menstrual health emergencies.
