Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Saturday Workout Session Draws Enthusiastic Crowd

In a vibrant display of community commitment to fitness, the weekly Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Saturday Workout Session took place today at Awka City Akwa. The event, which has become a staple in promoting health and wellness in the community, was attended by a diverse group of participants eager to engage in physical activity and learn about healthy living.

Coach Gideon, the lead fitness instructor, guided the group through a series of invigorating aerobic exercises designed to boost cardiovascular health and overall fitness. His energetic approach and motivational coaching style were evident as participants moved through the workout with enthusiasm.

Adding to the excitement, Mr. Patrick Onyedum, Chairman of the Anambra State Sports Development Commission, introduced new workout sessions, promising variety and challenge to keep participants engaged and motivated.

After the intense workout, participants were treated to a refreshing session of hand washing with soap and water, followed by a healthy snack of various fruits. This practical demonstration of hygiene and nutrition underscores the holistic approach to health the program promotes.

In a special segment, Group One, selected from the participants last week, delivered a short lecture on health-related topics. Their informative talk was well-received and added an educational component to the day’s activities. Next week, Group Two is set to continue this educational initiative with a lecture on another important health topic.

Dr Afam Obidike, State Coordinator for Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo (HLWNS), and Comrade Ken Okoli, President General of ASATU Youth, both commended the participants for their dedication and consistency. They stressed the importance of regular exercise and healthy habits, emphasizing that good health is the most valuable asset one can possess.
