Soludo Celebrates Two Years in Office With Thanksgiving Mass, Wife Highlights Progress And Renewed Focus

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State and his wife, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, recently attended a Pontifical Mass of Thanksgiving to celebrate their second year in office.

Mrs. Soludo emphasized the importance of God’s grace in their journey, stating, “We wouldn’t be here without His unlimited Grace. It’s what drives the new Anambra dream and its fulfilment.” She declared that their administration is “changing gear” and committed to “going the extra mile” to fulfill their vision.

The first lady expressed her pride in Governor Soludo’s unwavering dedication over the past two years. “His zeal, commitment, vision, passion, and energy haven’t waned one bit,” she stated. “Governor Soludo remains focused on building a prosperous Anambra for current and future generations.” She used the slogan “Change Gear! The Solution is Here!” to emphasize their renewed focus on progress.

Earlier, the Archbishop of Awka, Bishop Paulinus Ezeokafor, delivered the homily, expressing gratitude to God for Governor Soludo’s leadership. He lauded the Governor’s accomplishments, including the construction of over 400 kilometers of roads and advancements in security, agriculture, health, and education. He emphasized that these achievements were attained “without borrowing a dime.”

Overall, the event highlighted the Soludo administration’s commitment to progress and their focus on building a stronger Anambra State.

The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including: Governor of Abia State Alex Otti, Former Anambra Governor Chris Ngige, Deputy Governor Anambra Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Speaker Anambra House of Assembly Rt Hon Somtochukwu Udeze, APGA National Chairman Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, Secretary to the State Government Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief of Staff Ernest Ezeajughi, Members of Anambra State Executive Council, Members of Anambra State Legislature, Amb Bianca Ojukwu, Traditional Rulers amongst others attended the event.
